Utilizing either embedded or detachable USB BDS™ sensors, this IDesia application enhances security without compromising convenience.
All you need to do is enroll and authenticate your Windows password. No more cumbersome typing of passwords or multiple, erroneous fingerprint swipes – simply touch the passive sensor contacts when prompted and you’re in!
Oh, and if you insist, you can always type in your password to log in, too.
Screen Saver/System Lock
Feel free to step away from your PC with complete confidence.
When you lock your computer or the Windows screensaver happens to fire up, IDesia’s Screen Saver/System Lock application will immediately kick in to keep unwanted visitors out.
Ready to resume work? Simply touch the IDesia sensor contacts and gain access in a heartbeat.
File Protector
IDesia’s File Protector application seamlessly blends into Windows to allow you to protect individual files with your unique heartbeat-based biometric ID.
Simply right-click any file in the Windows file explorer and select “IDesia protect” from the context menu to lock the file.
At this point, you may choose to secure the file by typing in your Windows password. Alternatively, hold IDesia’s touch sensors and File Protector will immediately proceed to protect the chosen file with your unique biometric ID.
Need to access your valuable information again? Simply choose “IDesia Unprotect” from the context menu and hold the touch sensors to unlock the file.

To facilitate seamless integration, IDesia provides a full biometric chip support package comprising an open API, customized SDKs and hardware implementation reference designs.
Making the best of existing contact and contactless smart card infrastructure, IDesia utilizes “live” biometric signal authentication to ensure complete data security and prevent identity theft. Fully integrated, ‘all-on-board’ security enables signal acquisition, processing, template matching and authentication to all take place within the card being used. No need for external biometric readers, databases or processing systems.
